A much-changed Blues squad win the 2nd half at Salisbury after a tight 1st half,
Blues have to make 5 changes due to injury and unavailability

George Shakespeare makes his Blues debut

Guildford kick off down the slope after a minutes silence, Blues take and return the kick, Salisbury kick, Blues gather and run making ground before a knock on halts their progress, Salisbury win their scrum and attack taking play up to Blues 22 before knocking on, Blues just hold their scrum but don’t get far before a knock on gives Salisbury a scrum, again they win their scrum but good Blues defence forces another knock on. Blues hold their scrum and run at Salisbury taking play back into their half and get a penalty at the tackle, Blues play the advantage but play comes back for the penalty which is kicked to touch in Salisbury’s 22. Lineout won Blues forwards maul earning another penalty which is kicked to touch, Blues win the 5m lineout and again the forwards maul, this time they lose the ball allowing Salisbury to clear to touch.

Blues win their lineout and maul, again they cough up possession when they concede a penalty, Salisbury’s kick doesn’t find touch allowing Blues to attack getting back into Salisbury territory before a neat grubber kick is put through the Salisbury defence, Salisbury run out of defence, play is stopped due to an injury.
