Blues win their lineout and attack but concede a penalty at the tackle which Jersey kick to touch on Blues 30m line, lineout won Jersey run at Blues but lose the ball allowing Blues to counter attack, Blues knock on just in their own half giving Jersey a scrum, the scrum is reset twice, Jersey attack then put in a chip kick into Blues 22, Blues gather and clear to touch on their own 30m line.
Lineout won Jersey run the ball before putting in a kick and chase, Blues just get their first and touch down giving them a try line drop out, Jersey gather and attack spreading the ball wide right their 8 George Willmott breaking through tackles to score wide out right, the conversion is just wide 24 mins 0-12

Blues kick off is knocked on by Jersey, Jersey’s heavier pack shoves Blues back and get a penalty, their kick doesn’t find touch allowing Blues to gather and run before kicking into touch, Jersey take quickly and run at Blues, good Blues defence wins a penalty which is kicked to touch, Jersey get a scrum at the lineout, scrum won Jersey kick deep into Blues half, Blues gather and put up a high kick which they manage to get hold of and run at Jersey getting a penalty which is kicked to touch after playing the advantage, lineout won Blues forwards maul but are held out giving Jersey the scrum, the scrum is reset and Blues get a free kick, they tap and go spreading the ball wide, Blues are tackled 5m short and concede a penalty which Jersey clear to touch on half way, lineout won Jersey run at Blues getting a penalty +10 m which is kicked to touch deep in Blues 22, Blues manage to get hold of the ball at the lineout and try running out of defence getting a penalty at the tackle which is kicked to touch just outside their 22.
Lineout won Blues attack Tom Hunt makes the break to halfway and Blues just manage to keep hold of the ball which is spread right allowing Jamie Futcher to make a great break, skipping through one tackle and then chip over Jersey’s fullback, the race is on both take each other out on the try line allowing Toby Thorne to pick up and place down to score, the long conversion just dips under the bar 39 mins 5-12

Blues kick off the second half and get hands to the ball but knock on, Jersey’s pack has the upper hand at scrums and win a penalty which is kicked to touch, lineout won Jersey attack getting another penalty when Blues stray offside, lineout won Jersey’s forwards maul getting up to the try line allowing their 9 Max Harrington to dive over and score, Scott Van Breda kicks the conversion 5-26 44 mins

Blues take the restart kick, Jersey gather and clear to touch just in their own half, Jersey steal Blues lineout and kick clear deep into Blues half, Blues gather and try running out of defence but lose the ball, Jersey gather and a neat chip kick is safely gathered by Blues who try running out of defence before kicking into Jersey’s half, Jersey gather and run at Blues, good Blues defence earns them a penalty, the kick doesn’t find touch, Jersey return the kick and get a penalty scrum where the ball lands, Blues infringe giving Jersey a penalty scrum and Blues get a yellow card.
Jersey win their scrum and take play across the pitch, Blues defence manage to steal the ball and kick clear, Jersey gather and run back at Blues but concede a penalty at the tackle, Blues kick to touch.
