Blues battle on.

Newbury U14s entertained a a spirited side from Abingdon today.Despite the atrocious weather both teams agreed to play the game.
It started quite an even game but Newbury soon got into their stride and the scoreboard started to click round.

It all became academic and Newbury had a change of staff at half time, putting players out of position too.

Abingdon deservedly got on the score sheet, despite the weather and trailing by some way, they deserve commendation for playing right to the final whistle! We applaud their spirit and determination, well done boys!!

So at the final whistle, Newbury walked away the victors, 64-12.

Team of the day goes to Abingdon, without a doubt!
