23 boys and 30 parents spent an active week end in Newton Abbott and Topsham, the boys having the treat of playing on the Newton Abbott 1st XV’s pitch and forming the Guard of Honour for the seniors match.

SCOFELL LANDSCAPES sponsored new training tops which were commented on by the oppositions Coaches, saying how smart they looked and giving a very impressive first view. This obviously helped to scare the opposition as Newbury A’s beat Newton Abbott 21 – 7 on Saturday and then Topsham 21 – 7 on Sunday.
Not to be out done, the parents had 2 hours of intense water polo on the Sunday in the Exeter Pyramids Leisure Centre, while the boys swam and played on a Wobsticle Course.
