Newbury Faded Blues (Playing in Red) welcomed Witney Wizards on Sat 24th Oct for a curtain raiser game before the Newbury Blues v Witney league game

A great advert for walking rugby over several games as Witney had 2 squads and Newbury nearly 2 squads. All the games were keenly contested in the great sporting spirit of walking rugby. The winner being walking rugby even the storms couldn’t dampen the spirits.
All then retired to the bar for a great lunch, beers and the usual chat a great time had by all, thank you Witney for travelling to Newbury and hope to play you again soon
