
Newbury RFC is seeking an experienced and financially confident Treasurer to join our Executive Committee. This is a key governance role overseeing budgeting, cashflow, reporting, capital projects, and financial compliance.

What You’ll Lead
• Financial governance, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
• Monthly management information and committee reporting
• Oversight of capital expenditure and major projects
• Tenant lease negotiations and land use agreements
• Fundraising and grant management via The Good Exchange
What You Bring
• Strong financial management experience
• Ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
• Confidence negotiating contracts or commercial agreements
• Collaborative approach with trustees, accountants and partners
• Interest in supporting a thriving community sports club
Time Commitment
Monthly meetings + additional involvement during budgeting cycles, year end, and AGM/FAGM preparation.
