To continue with the hard work done over the last few years, our plan is to now maintain our pitches as started in 2021. We have the equivalent of 6 pitches and are planning for two 2 pitches to be sanded every year which will mean every pitch will get an application every 3 years.

The RFU recommends the application of 60 tons of sand per pitch every year, grass roots rugby clubs can afford this we certainly cannot but a planned regime can maintain pitches to a good standard that all members and age groups can assist with.
