Very happy to announce that our first fixture of the season—Friday September 26th—is now officially a memorial game to remember fellow player Adam Henderson who sadly lost his battle back in March.

We want it to be a huge celebration of Hendo's life and his love of Newbury RFC and the game we all cherish. Hendo also played for Thatcham Rugby Club in the past, which makes it a fitting fixture.

We are thankful for the support of Hendo's family and look forward to running out with his son Fred, several players who were coached by him, plus those who played alongside Hendo over the years.

The lights will be on, bar open and there might even be live music afterwards - come along to support!
