Blues suffering from injuries make three changes, but lose at Monks Lane getting a losing bonus point

Blues play some good rugby but are unable to turn it into points meaning they suffer their second defeat

Blues kick off in front of a big crowd on a sunny afternoon, and have the better of the first minutes but again as at Camborne Blues concede penalties meaning they give up possession when in attacking positions, Blues get a penalty on 11 minutes which slides just past the uprights, Blues attack from the 22 drop out but again concede a penalty, Drybrook take it quickly and then kick upfield, Blues gather and run Harvey North making good ground up the touchline before passing to Josh Winfield who breaks through the defence to score under the posts, Dan Thorne converts, 7-0 15 mins

Drybrook restart and manage to get hold of the ball, Blues get a lineout when Drybrook are forced into touch, Blues kick clear from the lineout, Drybrook attack and soon have a penalty and Blues a yellow card, Drybrook kick to touch win their lineout and maul, their forwards then pick and drive and after several phases are over to score, the conversion is good, 7-7 21 mins

Blues restart and are soon behind when after conceding a penalty Drybrook kick to touch, win their lineout allowing their forwards to maul before the ball is spread wide for their winger to score out wide, the conversion is wide 7-12 25 mins

Blues restart and run back at Blues, good pressure forces Drybrook to kick, Blues semi charge down the kick, Drybrook get hold of the ball and attack getting a penalty which is kicked to touch, Blues attack but a penalty halts their progress and allows Drybrook to kick clear, Blues get a scrum when Drybrook knock on, Blues forwards win a penalty at the scrum which is kicked to touch in Drybrook’s half, Drybrook steal the lineout and soon have a penalty and Blues a second yellow card, Drybrook attack from their lineout but this time they concede a penalty, Blues kick to touch and attack from their lineout with some good rugby getting a penalty which Dan thorn kicks 10-12 half time

Drybrook win their scrum under pressure, spreading the ball wide they break through the Blues defence to score and convert 10-19 43 mins.

Blues kick off, Drybrook kick to touch, Blues get a penalty at the lineout and kick to touch, lineout won Blues take play up to Drybrook’s 22 before they are forced into touch, Drybrook win their lineout and clear to touch, Drybrook kick from the lineout and get a scrum when Blues knock on, Drybrook again kick from the scrum, Blues run the ball making good ground before a knock on halts their progress,

Drybrook win their scrum in their own half before kicking up field, Blues gather and return the kick, Drybrook take play back into Blues half before conceding a penalty allowing Blues to clear to touch, Drybrook steal the lineout and take play into Blues 22 before a knock-on halts their progress.

Ryan Davis on James Lewis off and a reshuffle 54 mins

Blues win their scrum and run out of defence taking play up to half way, Blues spread the ball across the pitch then send a kick bouncing into touch, Drybrook win their lineout and run at Blues before they lose the ball, Blues attack and some good play between Chris Atkinson and Toby Holland releases Alex Bancroft who weaves his way through the Drybrook defenders to score under the posts, Dan Thorne adds the conversion 17-19 57 minutes.

Blues attack from the Kick off Harvey North making good ground down the touch line before a neat chip kick over the defence and chase, Drybrook get a penalty scrum

Drybrook win their scrum and kick clear, Blues win their lineout and attack taking play across the pitch getting a penalty which Dan Thorne kicks, 20-19 64 mins

Blues attack from the lineout and are now putting Drybrook under pressure, some good Blues play results in another Blues penalty, the long kick is just wide,

Christian Atkinson off George Robinson Slater on and another reshuffle of backs and forwards 70 mins

Drybrook restart and after a couple of kicks each Drybrook end up with a lineout in Blues half, lineout won Drybrook put Blues under pressure through several phases and eventually get over to score the conversion is wide, 20-24 74 mins

Drybrook restart and get a scrum when Blues knock on, they attack from the scrum and Blues are lucky not to go further behind when a forward pass gives Blues a scrum with the try line open. Blues attack from the scrum and put Drybrook under pressure for the last few minutes camped in Drybrook’s half but are unable to make the break through.

Blues come close for the second week in a row but just fall short, this week picking up a losing bonus point
