Stags kick off and good pressure forces Slough to kick clear, Stags gather and attack and after several minutes spent in Sloughs 22, Sam Bramhall crashes through the defence and over beside the posts, Matt Cox adds the conversion 7-0 5 mins
Slough return the favour and 5 minutes later take play into Stags 22 getting a penalty they play the advantage but play is back for the penalty in Stags 22, Slough take a quick tap and go catching Stags defenders off guard and just getting over to score and add the conversion 7-7 10 mins
Stags kick off and put pressure on Slough who get a penalty, again Slough take a quick tap and spread play wide getting into Stags half before being tackled into touch. Lineout won Stags run at Slough before kicking into Sloughs 22, a good chase results in Slough getting a penalty, lineout won Slough attack getting into Stags half before Stags steal possession and get a penalty which is kicked to touch , Stags have the better of the next few minutes but are unable to make the breakthrough, Slough get a penalty scrum and quickly spread the ball wide, their winger going from in his own half to score under the posts plus the conversion 7-14 31 mins
Stags restart and soon have a penalty, Matt Cox is successfully with the long kick 10-14 33mins
Slough restart, Stags gather and have the better of the next few minutes spending it camped in the Slough half, a grubber kick and chase is just too long but Stags attack from the 22 drop out and after several phases Sam Bramhall gets over to score his second, Matt Cox converts 17-14 half time

Slough kick off the second half and have soon added to their score, Stags knock on giving Slough a scrum, a break from the scrum takes them deep into Stags 22 and after a couple of pick and drives they are over to score and convert, 17-21 42 mins
Stags restart and get a scrum, from the scrum Stags attack making good ground the ball reaches Sam Bramhall who breaks several tackles to score, the conversion is wide 22-21 44mins
Slough kick off and concede a scrum, Slough steal Stags scrum and get a penalty which is kicked 22-24 49 mins
Stags restart and manage to get hold of the ball when Slough lose possession, Stags attack getting a penalty which they tap and go, Stags take play left getting to within a few meters of the try line, several phases later Stags get a penalty, Stags tap and go and Jamal Watson bundles over to score Matt Cox converts 29-24 54 mins
Slough kick off and concede a penalty scrum on halfway, Stags attack from the scrum but lose the ball, Slough attack but have soon knocked on, Stags win the scrum and attack, a chip and chase is kicked into touch by Slough who get a scrum at the lineout, Slough get a free kick at the scrum and kick to touch just outside Stags 22, Stags take quickly and some good running rugby results in Michael Duppa-Miller running in from 30 m to score under the posts Matt Cox converts 36-24 63 mins
Slough’s restart rolls into touch, Stags win the lineout and some good running rugby takes play into Slough’s half before a knock on halts their progress, Slough win their scrum and spread play wide but a knock on gives Stags a scrum just outside Slough’s 22, Stags win their reset scrum and attack taking play into Slough’s 22 before Archie Durden-Smith picks up the ball at the tackle and darts through Sloughs defenders making the final 18 m to score close to the posts, George Stevens adds the conversion 43-24 72 mins
Slough restart and soon manage to get hold of the ball, they spend several phases in Stags 22 before Stags manage to clear to touch, Stags get a scrum at the lineout and attack taking play up to Slough’s 22 winning a penalty, Stags tap and go and put pressure on Slough’s defence which just holds out and win a penalty which is kicked to touch close to half way. Lineout won Slough attack getting into Stags territory and get a lineout when a loose ball is knocked into touch, lineout won Slough attack, a knock on gives Stags a scrum then a penalty, Stags tap and go getting into Sloughs half before conceding a penalty which is kicked to touch lineout won Slough soon have a penalty which is kicked to touch in Stags 22, again Stags infringe giving Slough another penalty, from the lineout Slough attack and are rewarded with a try earning them the try bonus point, the conversion is wide, full time, 43-29
