Maidenhead kick off this league game with the benefit of the strong crosswind, A’s gather and Joe Lawrence makes good yards taking play into Maidenheads 22, A’s keep up the pressure getting to the try line before they lose the ball, Maidenhead clear into A’s half, A’s again run getting back to half way and win a scrum, A’s pack hold their scrum easily and they set off again, Maidenhead win a penalty at the tackle, their kick stays infield allowing the A’s to mount another running attack, again they concede a penalty which Maidenhead clear to touch long into A’s 22.

A’s kick off the second half and make the mistake of not getting 10 so back for a Maidenhead scrum, Maidenhead run the ball but a knock-on halts their progress, A’s win the scrum but their kick drifts straight out so back for a Maidenhead lineout, mistakes are a plenty and the lineout throw is not straight giving A’s a scrum, the next few minutes are spent in mid field both teams making mistakes.
