West Berkshire Barbarians v Symondians RFC - Friday 11 December

This team is made up from Newbury RFC Colts and Thatcham RFC Colts and is a new and exciting initiative created to maintain a U18 Colts presence for both rugby clubs. Entered in the OBB Div 3 league and with a raft of friendly games booked, the squad is thriving but always looking for new members to join.

The WBB bucked the normal trend of Sunday fixtures and hosted a team from Symondians RFC under floodlights. With assistance from the RFU, the game was made available to past, lapsed and new players in the U17/U18 age group, in the hope that they may return to, or start playing, Club rugby.

The event was well attended by supporters and players alike.

Sadly the WBB lost on this occasion but a return match is already in the pipeline!
