NCC Plate

Newbury travelled down the M4 and A319 to Cirencester to re-new their NCC rivalry, this year in the plate competition having knocked them out last year in the main competition

Newbury started the stronger and were soon in front when Sam Guttridge scored the first try 5-0 to Newbury; Cirencester replied with an unconverted try 5-5.
Newbury gained the upper hand and were soon back in the lead again when Ean Kershaw scored and Sam Guttridge added the conversion 12-5.
Joe Leadley kept the score ticking over with a try, converted by Richard West 19-5.
Final points in the game came from a try by Josh Winfield converted by Richard West 26-5
