We showed from the outset very good commitments to tackling the breakdown, what showed itself the most was our spacial awareness we kept out positioning very well which gave all the players a chance to work evenly. The forwards hunted well in a pack together and the backs attacked with great hands and good line speed and depth. Charlie Lambert was player of the match from NRFC and for a winger to have picked for that showed tremendous team play. Both wings to be fair had lots of procession so from a coaching perspective it couldn't have been a better start.
Every single player today worked hard unselfishly and all demonstrated an improvement with their skills from the training we've be doing mid-week and Sunday's, all in all it was a very good start. So well done to everyone. Make sure now we take that positive attitude back to training to work even harder on the areas we can better.
