So today the U13's Whites played a last minute arranged game vs Rams.
Due to numbers Newbury only had 10 players and so we opted to play 4 quarters of 12 mins each.
Rams lent us 3 different players for each quarter.

This led the Whites to be in an awkward situation playing positions they were not used to and with changing opposing players making up their numbers.

Credit must be given to the Rams players playing for us - they each gave their all and did some great tackles against their own team.

Newbury's attack was good - with some great runs and some good passing. Also credit for some great calls from some of our players.

The Rams had a couple of "blocks" in the first and four quarter of quick trys one after the other but for much of the game it was much more equal.

Unfortunately our rucking lacked proper determination and our defense was not as it should be and we missed a fair few critical tackles - hence the overall score.

Having said that it was a lovely day - some good rugby on both sides and despite the score some smiling faces at the end - which is the only score that really matters.
