Newbury U10s come 3rd in Lexus Festival
U10s only lost one game against the winner of the tournament, Cowbridge.
NRFC vs Exeter: 0-0
Cleve vs NRFC: 2-3
After a fantastic break through the defense, Toby outrun Cleve and went to score in the corner. Max scored the second try and Toby scored the 3rd.
Winchester vs NRFC: 1-4
Rory and Tom scored through tries in the corner. Toby and Tom then went through the defense in the middle to score the last 2 tries.
After winning the pool, NRFC played Cowbridge in the semi-final.
Cowbridge vs NFRC: 3-1
Cowbridge kept the ball moving through the game and managed to score 3 tries. Max tried once.
The boys were really disheartened but pulled themselves together for the last game against Exeter again.
NRFC vs Exeter: 4-0
In the last game, Newbury showed great resilience and courage despite feeling tired and hurt. Hugo scored the first try, followed Jake for the next couple and Rory in the corner.
